PREFACE

Having got benefit of Roof Top Solar Power Generation (RTSPG) installation in my house in Bengaluru and
freedom from paying monthly bills since March 17, 2017 a thought came to my
mind that I should popularise so that the entire humankind can enjoy the benefits.
This experience and a subsequent to
visit Mr. (Solar) Sureshbhai’s house in Chennai gave birth to some voluntary projects described herebelow.
1. Spread awareness to
use solar energy which is available in plenty and without any expiry date for all of us. Thanks to Rotary Club, IT
Chennai, for giving me the opportunity to present the first awareness creation session
on Pongal Day (The day celebrated to worship Sun God) January 13, 2019 to the
Club’s distinguished members. Subsequently, I am blessed with
opportunities to present to a number of
Clubs in Bengaluru, Senior Citizens For a, Gated Communities, Schools, Apartment
Complexes, Marriage Halls and also individuals.
2. Promote Solar powered
lamps so that kids of economically backward people's kids can conveniently study at home in the nights.
3.
Promote machines which can supply pure drinking water extracted from
Moisture.
4.
Produce your own Cooking Gas using the daily food waste.
Project No.1 was started based on my
own experience with RTSPG generation installation on March 17, 2017 and I have
been tracking performance since then.
For Project No.2, I bought and used a Solar Powered table lamp supplied by an NGO in Indira Nagar, Bengaluru, for about six months and could introduce the NGO to Mr. Sangeetha Raj working for a Church in Bengaluru. He bought one unit.
For Project No. 3, I could not yet find
any vendor who could supply and maintain in Bengaluru. Moreover, the machine works fine where
humidity is more than 50%. A
relative of mine bought and installed one unit in Chennai and has given
positive feedback.
For Project No.4, I am yet to locate
a vendor for installing an unit in my house in Bengaluru as the vendor I located
would operate only in Tamil Nadu.
Referred the vendor to a Hotel
and Resort in Hosur Area in Tamil Nadu.
The purpose of this blog is to invite
like-minded volunteers to support the voluntary initiatives so that we can add new
projects beneficial to all.
The projects are expected to be first
tried by ourselves for a minimum of six months before we recommend to Public
and are purely voluntary in nature.
